      CSA Vivaldi Strings Benefit Concert

      Saturday, June 5, 2021, 7:30 – 9:30pm



      The Wheaton College Community School of the Arts (CSA) presents an evening of music performed by Vivaldi Strings at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 5.

      CSA's string ensemble performs under the direction of Julie Maura Bickel. The group consists of 26 advanced violinists, violists, cellists and pianists, ages 11-17, who have been trained through the Suzuki method. In addition to performing at local venues including the Symphony Center, Drury Lane, Paramount Theater and Chicago-area TV affiliates, the group has toured in Europe, Asia, Canada and the U.S.

      Proceeds from this concert help support Vivaldi Strings in their future programs and tours. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door or through the CSA office. The concert will take place in the Armerding Recital Hall, located at 520 E. Kenilworth Ave. in Wheaton. For more information, call the Community School of the Arts at 630.752.5567.
